This post is short and sweet and the final post in our MLM Myths and Truths series.
MLM Myth #9
Have you ever been told to “fake it till you make it”?
Have you ever been told you have to believe in the products in order to get greater results?
Have you ever considered that this advice is back the front? Of course it’s no good trying to sell products you think suck, but you’d be foolish to join a business with products you didn’t genuinely consider to be good quality and good value. In fact before you join a company, you should ask yourself, “Would I be proud to recommend these products and services if there was no financial reward attached.” If your answer is yes, great, if your answer is no, you’re in the wrong company.
But believing in your products doesn’t mean you have to put on a fake smile and pretend everything is fabulous in your business while in reality you are struggling to sponsor anyone or make any money.
MLM Truth #9
The truth is you will naturally believe in your products, service and business when you experience what you are doing is working!
Are you slaving in your business, prospecting, training and prospecting some more but still getting no results? Only to be told by your sponsor to try harder and prospect more?
It’s difficult to have faith in a business that is showing you little results for your efforts, now matter how great the products and services and opportunity.
However when you build a business with a ‘marketing model’ that works, your belief becomes the natural result of experiencing your own success.
So rather than try harder…try different, try smarter! Use marketing methods that bring hundreds or even thousands of business and customer leads to you without you chasing a single one. In essence, learn marketing skills that work.
Secondly find a business model that pays great money immediately, as well as providing a residual income for years down the track.
