Hi, and thanks for stopping by.

In 2008 I came across the most intelligent businesses and business models I’ve ever seen, on a web page similar to this. By acting on what I found, I have since been enable to grow an international business from the comfort of my own home, and with none of the overheads associated with a traditional business.

In the same year I stumbled across a web page explaining the power of Internet Marketing as a tool for exploding your home business. I threw my self in and learned everything I could and now, as a result of applying the marketing lessons I learned, I have an amazing business, open 24/7 to a global audience from my home.

That’s the short story, so if you want to get on with it and find out how you can do the same, just enter your details on the right and we’ll email you the details.

Or if you are keen on the human interest story  you can keep reading.

My Story

There seem to be three types of people in the world. 1.People who know what they want to do with their life and they go after it. 2.People who know what they want but are too scared to go after it.  And 3.People who just don’t know what they want in the first place. My story is nothing very heroic, it is one of jumping through life like a grass hopper, somewhere between 2. and 3. experiencing successes and failures but never sticking at anything. That’s because I was too scared to follow my dreams.  Now however, I am building the courage to pursue my dreams and I’ve found the vehicle to support them. And I’d like to share with you how you can too.

Like so many parents, I always squeezed in time for myself around work, nappy(diaper) changes, school runs and kid’s sport. The pressures of balancing work and family life often left me feeling  spent, exhausted and dissatisfied, as if there were never enough hours in the day.

That’s when I knew something had to shift.   I learned it is important to build wealth through multiple streams of income, especially so in today’s economic climate .

But I’ve also learned that  you can build wealth and pursue your dreams at the same time.

So if you have dreams or a wish list and you don’t want to be a part of the rat race anymore, then through this website you can learn exactly what I’ve learned and take control of your own wealth creation and break free of the rat race.

Day Dreamers Don’t Want a ‘J.O.B’ (Jail Or Broke)

In order to create what you want in life, you must start with your dream, your vision in your mind. And then you must be willing to research and learn and take action to bring your dreams into reality. And never quit until you do.

After I finished school I worked in hospitality and retail, art galleries and nightclubs but like many teenagers I hated the idea of being a wage slave in a job for 45 years until retirement. I had many things I wanted to do but being an employee and having ‘a job’ was never top of my list.

I went to university to pursue a visual arts degree. A  love of painting is what took me to art school, and I had dreams of changing the world  (and especially the lives of impoverished children) through art.  However I had low self esteem and lacked confidence, so at that time I never seriously pursued anything, let alone my dreams.

Also very importantly, I lacked the tools and direction…

What I didn’t learn at art school was ‘ How To Market My Art’.

And as fate would have it my own first child was born before I finished my degree. I finished part time but artistic pursuits became downgraded on my list of priorities and putting food on my own table ranked higher.

Parents Sometimes Need Jobs

My post baby career has been checkered and varied. I was working part time in art galleries, retail and hospitality, as a ball room dance teacher, as an article writer and as a qualified remedial sports massage therapist.  I did the latter for about a year and it was my first experience with running my own business. I was an excellent sports massage therapist. I had many regular clients and helped fix many injuries. I had built my clientele up from the small gym and I built up my confidence through my success, but as a small business owner with limited marketing skills, I hit a financial wall and became impatient.

What I hadn’t learned at massage school was ‘ How To Market My Business’.

So I returned to my artistic leanings. I studied multimedia and worked as a web designer, mainly through word of mouth. Why? Because I still knew very little about business marketing. Are you seeing a pattern here with the lack of marketing skills? Then whilst building web sites I discovered programming!  Suddenly I pictured myself as Anakin Skywalker, building my own C3PO and R2D2, so I studied Software Engineering too!

Now it was a fact – I had become a serial student!!

mechatronic-dream

Only by now I had two young boys and had much less time available. Trying to complete fast paced programming assignments, while cooking dinner and reading bedtime stories was giving me a melt down. My maths sucked and software engineering made my brain hurt! I was no Anakin.

Shaun had just completed his Network Engineering Diploma and started working full time, but after years of us both studying, finances were still tight.

I decided I had been a serial student for long enough! I was sick of chopping and changing direction. I was sick of studying around my young family. But I was sick of struggling as a small business owner too. I had never wanted a job, but I decided I needed to get real and get a job with whatever skills I had right now. So I quit my studies and got ‘a job’ in a large IT company of the Corporate American variety.

Hello Helpdesk and the Curse of Normal

It was my first ‘ real’, full time salaried job. 6am starts taking calls from around the globe.  Broken servers, forgotten file paths or lost data  It was high pressure and repetitive and I felt like a battery hen.  “Have you tried turning it off and on again?!” …So I took all opportunities that came my way and wound up heading towards Project Management.

This was more interesting and I even got to go overseas contributing to the implementation of multimillion dollar projects. This was a personal achievement for me because the novelty of having a ‘real career’ meant I felt I was succeeding at ‘being normal’ (something my mother always hoped I would do).

But normal was a thin vaneer and  it had a down side; I was plugged into my laptop at all hours of the night  working from home or late at the office. I was stressed out of my mind, and I was missing nearly all of my children’s school events. Thank god I had taken up Tae Kwon Do pretty seriously, so I could at least go and bash the crap out of a punching bag to let off steam.

I found myself staring out the window at the end of the work day. I’d watch the sun set from my office window and wonder if this was all there was. The thought of working stupid hours for the next XXXX years to earn only an ‘okay wage’ in exchange for my entire life just didn’t seem like a good deal.

I felt like I was just treading water and failing to do anything that really “meant something” to me.

If this was ‘normal’ then it was a curse. So four and a half years from the day I started, I resigned from my career with Corporate America too.

The Happy Ending – The Best Business in the World.

This is when a friend introduced me to the smartest business model I had ever seen, with the most stupidly simple yet insanely brilliant products and services.  I could work for myself, determine my own hours and potentially earn a massive LEVERAGED income. I had been introduced to Network Marketing.

I was so excited I did everything a good network marketer should. I got out of my comfort zone. I plugged into the system. I went to all the training. I flew across the country to attend national events.  I made a list of everyone I knew and called them one by one, even the people I hadn’t spoken to in years! I rode the emotional roller coaster and played the numbers game.

I was doing home meetings and presentations many nights a week EVEN when I was now eight and a half months pregnant with our third child! But after several months I still only had a small team,  a meagre income, a massive phone bill and a growing list of friends who avoided me at parties! I began to wonder what I was ever so excited about.

It occurred to me that there had to be a better way for both myself and my business partners. I knew this business was brilliant, but I realised that the key ingredient missing from my ‘network marketing’ business was effective ‘marketing’!

So what do you think I did? Quit and change direction AGAIN? Not quite. You see direct sales is very character building..it exposes your weaknesses and your strengths, and it exposed mine. I realised that although I was a fast and enthusiastic learner, I was also someone who was too quick to walk away and change course when I didn’t get the results I wanted. But not this time; what I had found in my business made too much sense  and gave to much reward to walk away. It was not just a business that I could feel proud to be associated with, it was a business that gave me both the flexibility and the financial reward to be able to pursue my dreams. It IS a business that gives myself and others equal earning potential, flexibility and the avenue to change our lives. It is a business that offers ordinary people a real alternative to the rat race and an opportunity to have success at whatever level they choose.

The Happy Ending – Internet Marketing

I started looking online for a solution.  That’s when I discovered internet marketing .

Suddenly an entire universe opened up. Since then I’ve learned just how powerful online marketing really is. Not only for Network Marketing or Affiliate Marketing, but for any business.

I read so much material and my learning curve was vertical. And this time my study paid off! It has also been the key to really building our network marketing business. We’ve made amazing friends and we’ve built a successful international home business.

Now this doesn’t mean we don’t still build our business in the real world face to face every day. Of course we do. In fact learning about online marketing taught us a lot about offline marketing in the process. Integrating both effective online and offline marketing strategies has given us the confidence and the skills to be successful.

The result is that today Shaun and I are successfully generating our income online from the comfort of our own home, and around our children and other work. We experience none of the pain of ineffective MLM strategies or the awful hours and costs of running a traditional business as a sole trader.

We don’t chase or hassle anyone for anything and we have the pleasure of always working with like minded people – people who are interested in what we have to offer.

Today I am building my own business and am responsible for the creation of my own wealth.

I spend heaps of time with my kids every day. In fact in January 2010 we had our youngest (and fourth) child, a beautiful little boy!  I have even picked up a paintbrush and drawing pencil again and am working towards my dreams of creating a brighter future for kids who need a helping hand. And I am using my business profits to help fund my dreams.

If you can relate to any parts of my story, if you are over worked, or underpaid, certifiably unemployable or just need to reconnect with your dreams and want to create financial freedom,  then enter your name and email in our contact form on this site and we’ll send you a 7 part email series on building your business from home.  We’ll also let you in on what we do.

To your success and living your dreams,

Brooke Kendall
